Mild Aligners
Lower Teeth Alignment
The patient had a very canted bite on the lower front teeth. 14 Aligners corrected this. A bonded retainer wire was placed to ensure teeth stay in their new position.
Create A Better Smile Curve
Patient presents after having had previous orthodontic treatment not happy with show of front teeth (too short). We did 20 aligners to try to bring the front teeth down into a correct smile line with her lower lip. We also widened her arch shape while we were at it to help with her tongue space and breathing potential. Post-alignment a retainer wire was bonded to ensure teeth stayed in their new position.
Align Smile Before Bonding
Patient presents having been referred by her plastic surgeon who felt that after her face surgery this patient would look better if her teeth matched her new face. The patient liked her “quirky” smile but we agreed to try and close the gaps around the teeth to giver her a more youthful smile. 20 Aligners created this difference. We did also widen the arches to ensure more tongue space for better breathing.

Correcting front teeth spacing
Very exciting case, still only half way through, 14 aligners have straightened upper and lower teeth dramatically, can’t wait to see the final result. You can see the attachments in situ where the aligner can grip the teeth better and make movements in certain directions more accurate.

Pt had very lower teeth on the upper left side, 19 aligners pushed the teeth up and into the right position.
Alignment of teeth before Grinding Rehabilitation
This patient presented to have her new implant crowned but we noticed that her arch had completely collapsed and narrowed making the implant visible in her smile. Pt is a severe grinder too. 40 Aligners were used to create this beautifully aligned result to hide the implant better but, at the same time, we aligned everything, widened the arches and prepared the smile for some beautiful bonding. Minimal bonding was done on her teeth to optimize the aesthetics but minimize any damage to the teeth longterm. A retainer wire was placed on the lower teeth to prevent their collapse again.
Arch Widening For Airway
This patient was unhappy with the gummy smile she had and also that her teeth were starting to go skew due to the collapse of her arches. 35 aligners in this case solved the gummy smile, widened the arches and gave the patient her confident smile back. We always try to widen as much as possible in these cases to help with the airway and tongue space in the mouth.
Advanced Aligners
Full mouth crowding alignment
Here we used aligners for the upper and lower teeth. The patient had 35 aligners to correct this for a decent result. Retainer wires were bonded to ensure the position.
SFOT & Aligners for severe crowding
This patient had been concerned about her teeth her whole life. She saved up and was finally able to have her treatment done. She had very narrow arches with serious dental collapse and crowding. Part of our tactic to straighten teeth does not include shaving the teeth to make them smaller to fit into the arch that is present. We would rather utilize other treatments to help us widen such narrow arches to align teeth naturally rather than damaging them to make them fit. This patient had upper and lower SFOT surgery done (gum surgery and bone grafting) to create more bone space to be able to widen the arch exponentially more. This surgery give amazing results in conditioning the bone and gum and is also can speed up your aligner treatment. This patient chose not to have any bonding done, she was just so happy to have her teeth straight that a good clean was all she needed.
SFOT & Aligners for crowding & mid-aligner Bonding
This patient felt that he really needed to straighten his teeth but when we examined his mouth we noted that the collapse of the arches in width was so dramatic that we couldn’t just widen the arch to get a beautiful result. We had to do the SFOT surgery to build us some good bone in which to widen the teeth. Halfway through the treatment his teeth we so much straighter that the front teeth really started to look funny as one was shorter than the other. We halted the aligner treatment to do some aesthetic bonding before we carried on with the alignment. This patient really wanted whiter teeth and after some Zoom whitening we were able to bond his teeth beautifully. He still has a way to go with the aligners but is so much happier with his teeth now.
SFOT & Aligners for collapsed arches & Final Bonding Smile Rehab
This patient had done his homework when it came to his teeth, he knew he had to do something to align them but hadn’t found anyone who would be able to accomplish his alignment goals with the surgery that he wanted. As a multidisciplinary team our periodontal team happily assisted with the sFOT surgery while we carried on with the alignment treatment. Only 1 full set of aligners was necessary, we did not need to refine his alignment. We moved directly onto bonding. And what a dramatic difference. We are so proud of the results we can get with the surgery, alignment and bonding.
